There’s also a recent interview with Brendan courtesy of The Action Elite you can read more here at the source.

Q: Your new film Zarra’s Law is based on a true story; in a role like this do you feel there’s more pressure playing a real life character?

A: I know it was based on real guys that the writer knew, but we had taken so many creative liberties that we had always thought of it as doing it our own way so this was one where there wasn’t too much pressure. Obviously you have the script as your template and you take what the character is going through as far as situations and relationships and try and make it as authentic as possible.

From Brendan’s official message board posted by Brendan

“Well tomorrow, Tuesday the 17th at 10 pm on NBC, is the 4th episode of the television show you may have heard me talk about, The Night Shift. The first 3 have done really really well for us and I wanted to thank you for watching and TELLING YOUR FRIENDS (you did that right?). Well June 30th is the deadline for NBC to pick us up, which gives us 2 more aired episodes, including tomorrows, before we hear about our renewal. I’m asking for a big rally, even to the point of uncomfortably telling complete strangers to watch this show so we can make this decision a complete no-brainer for NBC. I don’t even care if you don’t like this show, you should consider “perjuring” yourself then, by telling everyone “it’s the awesomest show ever made, no word of a lie” for a tried and true friend like myself (realistically a true friend would never ask you to perjure yourself but then again, a tried and true friend would support their friend’s show so…) Tomorrow’s is a really cool episode for me and one I’m excited for so thank you for reading this plea/rant/diatribe/any other accurately descriptive word(s). May you find yourself on your couch tomorrow night, watching this show, receiving texts/calls from all those friends and strangers you told to watch, thanking you for telling them about it.”

Fehr: Yeah. I think everyone kinda knows. It’s out there, but Luke MacFarlane, a fellow actor from Canada who I didn’t know previously, but he came on board. He’s just a wonderful guy. We had a lot of fun. We had some great talks about it, just about our relationship, I mean I couldn’t have ask for a better guy opposite me just in terms of playing the role. You know we made each other feel comfortable. Obviously he’s gay and I’m straight in real life, so it was great for me, playing a gay character, to understand where he’s coming from, and to get his take on certain things. I love him death. He was great. He’s a wonderful actor and a great human being..

Shiri Appleby, Jason Behr, Majandra Delfino, Brendan Fehr, Nick Wechsler and series creator Jason Katims all attended the panel which was held at the Alamo theater on Sunday morning. Before the panel though, FanBolt was among a small group of select press to be able to interview the cast.

I’ve also added more Twitter Photos that were posted last night.

I’ve added 205 HQ Screencaps of Brendan in Episode 2 of Night Shift to the gallery.

I’ve also linked to several Interviews Brendan gave about the show and his character this week.

I just hope people, regardless of their beliefs, see that I played Drew as a human being that’s just going through a struggle.

You’re going to see him deal with it like you’d see anyone else deal with a secret that they don’t want anyone else to know.

When I first got the pilot, I thought it was great. There were a lot of risks involved in a character like that. If I was going to play a gay character on television, I didn’t want it to be typical. I wanted it to be different. So as I got close to getting the part, I had long talks with people on the creative side about who they wanted the character to be, where we want to go with him and how we wanted to define this character. And we were all on the same page that I wanted to play him as a human, you know what I mean? As a guy who fights and works to save lives.

I’ve also added more Twitter Photos that were posted last night.
