The Big Wake Up Call also has a short audio interview with Brendan from this morning that you can listen to here.
Brendan felt bad about having to cancel on us last week and was happy to make time for us this morning. We talked about the cast live tweeting get-togethers (where dancing does happen but he does not participate), how he gets into the mind of an often-troubled character, and how bonding with the rest of the cast is important when it comes to understanding each other’s characters.
I’ve added 4 HQ episode stills for Night Shift episode 2.08 to the gallery with thanks to far, far, away site.

There’s also a recent interview with Brendan courtesy of Huffington Post Canada you can read more here at the source.
HuffPost Canada: What can you tell us about Drew’s journey this season?
Brendan Fehr: We use the end of Season 1 as a jumping point. Obviously he’s out now and Rick (Luke Macfarlane) is back. We’re back to the tragedy of it, in terms of Rick having had his leg amputated and the toll that takes on him. As a caretaker, what does that do to our relationship? To be perfectly honest, I’m not entirely sure where we’re going with it because we haven’t filmed that far yet, but so far I have an idea. As an actor it’s a great storyline to do. I get to work with Luke again, who I really love. We just had a hell of a time hanging out both on- and off-set, so it’s one that I’m almost looking forward to, as much as the fans. Even though I don’t know where that ends up!
I’ve added 8 BTS photos of Brendan courtesy of Gabe Sachs (@GabeStuff) on twitter to the gallery.

There’s another recent interview with Brendan courtesy of Broke Horror Fan you can read more here at the source.
Q: You also had a small role in the biggest movie of the year, Guardians of the Galaxy, as John C. Reilly’s partner. Did you have any idea it would such huge success? Obviously it was a big budget Marvel movie, but it was a largely unknown property.
A: I didn’t know. I had no idea. I knew they were marketing it. When I came on board, it was just for reshoots. Originally, it was going to be a scene or two that I had auditioned for, but when the day came around, they decided not to shoot those. So ultimately I ended up with the role I ended up in, which was disappointing because it would have been fun to banter back and forth with those guys. But at the same time, I look at it as an opportunity, one that provided me with a day’s work and to observe guys like John and Chris [Pratt], who have been doing it for a long time and are successful, and to see what a big machine that whole universe is. It’s one you put away in your memory bank and use it as ammunition and inspiration to continue to get better. Hopefully I’ll be given the opportunity to say a couple of lines one day [laughs] or have my own Marvel film!
There’s also another interview via Shock ya discussing ‘Zarra’s Law’ here at the source.
ShockYa (SY): You star as Gaetano in the new crime drama, ‘Zarra’s Law.’ What was it about the character, and the script overall, that convinced you to take on the role?
Brendan Fehr (BF): I was drawn to the opportunity to play such an interesting character. To be able to play a New York Italian was something I never really envisioned for myself. So to figure out who the character was helped stretch me as an actor. I’m a West Coast kid, but people always know someone from New York. So to be able to try to capture their vibe, and to see how close I could get to playing them correctly, was a challenge.
There’s also a recent interview with Brendan courtesy of The Action Elite you can read more here at the source.
Q: Your new film Zarra’s Law is based on a true story; in a role like this do you feel there’s more pressure playing a real life character?
A: I know it was based on real guys that the writer knew, but we had taken so many creative liberties that we had always thought of it as doing it our own way so this was one where there wasn’t too much pressure. Obviously you have the script as your template and you take what the character is going through as far as situations and relationships and try and make it as authentic as possible.

Q: What’s your song of the Summer?
Fehr: Blow You Away, by Robert Earl Keen – he’s old-school country.
The Night Shift renewal comes after the series generated strong showings following NBC’s biggest summer draw, America’s Got Talent. It will likely return in summer 2015 with a 14-episode order.
